(Columbia-AP) June 22, 2006 - South Carolina's teacher of the year and an Upstate businesswoman have been appointed to a state panel that oversees the implementation of education reform laws.

Most people have no idea of the various industries that have popped up around mobile telecommunications. Things like ringtones and other cellular accessories have become billion dollar a year businesses, yet most people over the age of 20 don't even know what they are. This spells growth opportunity for most mobile content and music content publishers. Of course, I have a pretty sick Busta Rhymes ringtone on my Verizon Samsung mobile phone and I tend to change it weekly. So, I guess I am the demographic that most of the industry insiders are targeting.
